Taqueria Mi Tierra is what happens when a family decides Milwaukee deserves the same flavors that fill our kitchen back home. Every morning the masa comes together, the comal heats up, and tortillas get pressed by hand - the way they're meant to be. The salsas simmer low and slow until they taste like memory.
We are not a chain. We are not a fusion concept. We are a neighborhood taqueria in Walker's Point cooking the food we love, the way our grandmothers taught us, for anyone who walks through the door. Best money I've ever spent and it's not overpriced! You absolutely get your money's worth - extra salsa, napkins, eating utensils etc. The individual taco I got was pork, delicious and tender, great flavor.
One of my favorite restaurants to get tacos from. The homemade corn tortillas are delicious. They fill the tacos very much with quality tasting meats. The rice is also very soft & flavorful.
Best horchata I've EVER had. Best Torta de Cena I've ever had as well. My boyfriend and I LOVE this place! Amazing food, cost effective. I especially love the packaging - definitely shows someone cared to put effort in.
